Linnasekretärina töötab Eero Lapp
Alates 21. juunist töötab Kuressaare linnasekretärina seninelinnavalitsu
se õigusnõunik Eero Lapp.
Kuni selle ajani linnasekretäri ametis olnud Maie Kuldkepp otsustasameti
st lahkuda seoses väljateenitud tööpuhkusele jäämisega, teataslinnavalitsu
se pressiesindaja Reet Truuväärt.
Alates 1994. aastast siiani töötas Maie Kuldkepp linnasekretärina jajuht
is ühtlasi ka linnakantseleid. "Kuldkepp on suurte kogemustegatunnustat
ud jurist, kel on tulnud täita omaaegse rajooniagrotööstuskoondise peajuri
sti, seejärel ka Saare maavolikogukantselei juhataja kohustusi," lausus pr
essiesindaja.
Eero Lapp (44) on lõpetanud Tartu Ülikooli õigusteaduskonna 1986.aastal. E
nne linnavalitsusse tööle asumist töötas Lapperaettevõtluses, juhtid
es EU Kinnisvara õigusbürood.
Linnavalitsuses töötab Lapp alates 1997. a veebruarist juristina jaseejär
el õigusnõunikuna.
Eero Lapi sõnul hindab ta oma eelkäijat väga kõrgelt: "Linnakantseleidon M
aie suurepäraselt juhtinud, personal on meil hästi komplekteeritudja hea e
ttevalmistusega. Tegelikult pean ma ennast haldusaktide alalMaie õpilaseks
," lausus Lapp. "Lootsin viimase hetkeni, et ta võtaboma lahkumisavaldu
se tagasi," lisas ta.

CHIP HOURIHAN (Producer/Director/Screenplay) is a producer anddirector w
ho has created hundreds of national commercials, networkpromos, music vide
os, and corporate film projects. His clients includeCBS, Time-Warner, F
ox Network/20th Century Television, Dreamworks SKG,TNT, and Showtime. Hour
ihan's work has received numerous awards in thefields of commercial produc
tion, broadcast design, and corporatecommunications. Prior to producing a
nd directing, Chip Hourihan was afilm location scout who has worked with s
uch directors as RidleyScott, Tony Scott, Paul Mazursky, Tony Kaye, Todd P
hillips, KevinSmith, and Anton Corbijn. Hourihan is a graduate of Yale Uni
versitywith degrees in English and Architecture. Hourihan has written thre
efeature-length screenplays other than Glissando, all currently atvario
us stages of development: angry candy, Ourselves Alone, and MyCare
er as a Homewrecker.
VIVIAN HOLTZMAN (Producer) began her production career as theassista
nt to Peter Kaminsky on two television specials: People '95 andThe Food Ne
twork's "Let's Make Sure Everybody Eats '95." She went onto work as Operat
ions Unit Manager at The Food Network. In 1997,Vivian accepted a job as in
-house producer for Beehive, Inc. where shehelped Beehive take home BDA aw
ards for the "TNT Rough Cut" graphicspackage, and for AMC's "Hollywood Dia
ries." At Beehive, Vivianspearheaded production from concept development t
hroughpost-production. For the last two years Vivian has been the associat
eproducer of the "Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize." She has alsoassocia
te produced Gordon Elliott's "Doorknock Dinners" for the FoodNetwork. Vivi
an is currently a freelance producer for E!Entertainment's "Mysteries & Sc
andals" and "True Hollywood Stories."
ROBERT BOSWELL (Story) is the author of the novels Mystery Ride,Crooked He
arts, The Geography of Desire, American Owned Love, andCentury's Son, a
nd of the short story collections Living to be 100 andDancing in the Movie
s. He has received two NEA fellowships, aGuggenheim fellowship, the PEN We
st Award for fiction, and the IowaSchool of Letters Award for short fictio
n. Boswell teaches at NewMexico State University and at the Warren Wils
on MFA program forwriters. Boswell's novel Crooked Hearts was adapted in
to a 1991feature film starring Peter Berg, Vincent D'Onofrio, Jennifer Jas
onLeigh, and Peter Coyote, and featuring the screen debuts of both NoahWy
le and Juliette Lewis.
LUKE EDER (Cinematography) was the Director of Photography for thedramat
ic features Henry Hill (1999), Dreamland (1998), and CircusLives (1997), a
nd was the 2nd unit Director of Photography for AdamBernstein's Six Wa
ys to Sunday (1998), and Abel Ferrara's New RoseHotel (1998). A short fi
lm shot by Eder is in the permanent collectionof the Museum of Modern Ar
t. Eder has served as an instructor inDigital Cinematography at the Intern
ational Film & TelevisionWorkshops in Rockport, Maine.

Glissando was a 2001 recipient of a post-production grant from DigitalMed
ia in Portland, Oregon, as a part of their Avid Film Camp program.Under th
is program, the film received free post-production services inreturn for h
aving student editors Stephanie Argamaso, Marco Coppiardi,Molly Fitzjarral
d, Daniel Hasenstaub, Paul Kuldkepp, Bobby McFarland,Dan Rockwell, and Seb
astien Touta, working under professionalsupervising editors, complete rou
gh cut segments of the film. Whilemany feature films have been cut throu
gh this program, Glissando wasonly the second film to receive an addition
al grant for sound mix andAvid Symphony online services from Digital Medi
a, in which MollyFitzjarrald and Daniel Hasenstaub created initial sound m
ixes andSymphony color correction for the film, again working underprofess
ional supervision. The final cut of the film, online, and soundmix were co
mpleted in New York under the supervision of editor JohnBalcom and sound e
ditor Paul Furedi.

nd raised in Germany, Petra has also had recent starringroles in the fil

PAUL FREDIANI (Father) has had film roles in features ranging fromNeil Sim
on's California Suite (1978) to Eric Schaeffer's WireySpindell (1999), a
nd most recently was the lead in the independentfeature Lethal Justice (20
00). A veteran New York stage actor, Paul'smost recent lead stage roles ha
ve included Detective Story (1999) andIsrael Horovitz's Captains and Coura
ge (2001).
CHRIS VAN STRANDER (Jim at 15) has been seen on Broadway in Camelotand Tri
nity, and on television in All My Children and Spin City.
NED VAN ZANDT (Jim as adult) is best known for his work in The IcemanCome
th on Broadway. In film, Ned had the lead role in Halfway Home(1998), f
or which he was nominated for Best Performance at theHollywood Film Festiv
al, and has been seen in Coming Home (1978), PastTense (1994), and MacArth
ur (1977).
VIVIAN HOLTZMAN (Young Woman) wrote and starred in the acclaimed"Blumin
g" at New York's Miranda Theater. She then played the lead roleof Pil
ar in the original musical "The Rose Slippers" at The LookingGlass Theate
r, and received rave reviews as Loretta in "Last Chancefor Happiness" at t
he Gloria Maddox Theater in NYC. Glissando marksher feature film debut.
