The ROSAT All-Sky Survey (RASS) is providing the first complete X-ray view of the 218 presently known Wolf-Rayet (W-R) stars in the Galaxy. Based on this wealth of observational data we study the dependence of (soft) X-ray emission from W-R stars on their basic stellar and wind properties.
