The spectral variation of the peculiar variable MWC 560 has been monitored since 1991 at Asiago Observatory. The outflow velocity estimated from the blue-ward edge of the wide absorption components of H_alpha and H_beta lines varied in the range -1000 to -3500 km/s in this period, but most of the velocities in and later than 1993 were found in -2000± 400 km/s. Significant changes of the shape of the absorption components were observed.
